A 19-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with attempted murder after a 23-year-old Thompson man was shot Oct. 18.
Thompson RCMP responded to a call of a male being shot in a residence and arrived to find the victim with a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital in Winnipeg in stable condition. David Baker was arrested around 12:30 p.m. and charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm with intent. He remains in custody.
Thompson RCMP continue to investigate along with the major crime unit, RCMP police dog services, the Northern Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team and forensic identification services.
