James Robert Christopherson, 45, of Thompson, is facing three counts of sexual assault after being arrested Feb. 5.
On Oct. 12 last year, Thompson RCMP received a report of a sexual assault from an adult female resident of Thompson, which had allegedly occurred earlier that day at about 6 a.m. On Jan. 19, RCMP received another complaint from two additional adult women living in Thompson, both stating that they had been sexually assaulted on Jan. 15 at a residence in Thompson.
Police investigated the allegations, and eventually arrested and charged Christopherson. He was remanded into custody and was to appear in Thompson provincial court on Feb. 8. RCMP say the victims were not physically injured from the incidents, and the investigation is continuing.
