A cab driver suffered facial injuries and had to be taken to the Thompson General Hospital after an attack from a passenger over the weekend.
On July 5 around 9 p.m. Thompson RCMP received a call about a cab driver being assaulted by a passenger outside 15 Ashberry Pl. The suspect fled the area with a quantity of cash, and the cab driver suffered injuries to his face. He was treated and released at the hospital.
Thanks to the cab's in-car camera system, images were captured of two people that were riding in the cab when the assault occurred. They were also travelling with an adult female who is not pictured. Anyone who knows the identity of the people in the image is asked to contact the Thompson RCMP detachment at 677-6909.
