Anyone interested in having a speaking or non-speaking part, or just help out with "The City of Baraboo", a play that drama students at R. D. Parker Collegiate will be putting on, can attend auditions happening this month.

The Trojan Theatre will be putting on the play, based on The City of Baraboo by science fiction author Barry B. Longyear, in the Gordon Beard Arena in the first week of May.

Drama teacher at R. D. Parker David Boyce says that auditions for speaking roles in the play will be taking place from Nov. 23 to the 26.

"There are 58 speaking roles," he explains. "None of them are really large, so it's the kind of thing that if someone wants to start out acting, this might be the way to do it."
