Gods Lake Narrows RCMP looking for driver of ATV involved in hit-and-run

A 14-year-old girl received minor injuries when she was struck by a green ATV on a trail behind the community’s old school on June 26.

Gods Lake Narrows RCMP are looking for the driver of an ATV that hit a 14-year-old girl on June 26.

A 14-year-old girl in Gods Lake Narrows received non-life-threatening injuries when she was hit by an ATV whose driver then fled the scene.

Gods Lake Narrows RCMP were notified around 11:20 p.m. June 26 that the girl had been hit around 9:45 p.m. while walking on a trail behind the community’s old school. The green ATV that hit her was being ridden by two males, who stopped briefly but then left.

The girl who was hit managed to call for help and received medical treatment at the nursing station.
