Thompson Rural RCMP are attempting to locate a Split Lake man who went snowmobiling Nov. 21 and whose whereabouts are unknown.
Lawrence Walton Flett, 54, was reported missing on Nov. 25. Four days earlier, he left Split Lake on a snowmobile but did not provide any information about where he was headed. It is believed he may have tried to travel to York Landing, which is about 20 kilometres south of Split Lake.
Flett is 6’1” tall and 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Flett’s whereabouts can call Thompson Rural RCMP at 204-677-6909 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-22-8477. Tips can also be submitted online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
