The Sikh Society of Thompson, established in 1974, celebrated a milestone Nov. 17 when it hosted a Sunday service to celebrate the 550th anniversary of the birth of the religion’s founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their first permanent gurdwara (temple) on Goldeye Crescent.
