Thompson RCMP are investigating two deaths in a Westwood Drive home that were discovered on New Year’s Day.
Police attended a residence shortly before 3 p.m. on Jan. 1 after receiving a report of a dead person there. Responding officers found two men dead inside the home.
Police continue to investigate and autopsies are taking place, a spokesperson for Manitoba RCMP told the Thompson Citizen Jan. 9 in response to an inquiry about the incident.
A resident of the area said police tape was up and officers secured the scene for several days after the initial New Year’s Day response.
