Thompson RCMP arrested three people for drug and weapons offences after executing a search warrant Oct. 24.
Police searched an apartment on Princeton Drive shortly after midnight Oct. 24 and seized approximately 310 grams of cocaine, bear spray and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 38-year-old woman from Thompson was arrested and will face a charge of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking. A 23-year-old Thompson man was arrested and charged with possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
The investigation led to a search of a second residence on Nickel Road, where police found approximately 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, two handguns and drug trafficking paraphernalia. A 19-year-old man from Thompson is charged with possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possessing a restricted firearm with ammunition, illegal storage of a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a prohibited device and possessing property obtained by crime.
The investigation continues.
