The Randomized team of Chris Burns, C.J. Dramm and James Hendren were the winners of Lock'n'Load Paintball's 2014 Thomas Duncan Memorial paintball tournament at Juniper Field July 12, outbattling 10 other squads as well as the wind and rain to walk away with the grand prize of three Planet Eclipse Etha paintball guns.
Second through fifth place went to Second Shift Instock Associates (Bryce Early, Jayde Petrowski and Evan Yurkiw), First Nation Sensation (Dominic Kesteris, T.J. Wavey and Brendan Moose), Whisky Tango Foxtrot (Bob Philippe, Tylor Fitzpatrick and Jason Turton) and Khaos (Joshua Rab, Randy Coyer and Chris Stevens).
AutoCocker Blocker (Trent Beardy, Colten Elias and Travis Elias) wound up sixth, followed by Corpulent (Jeremis Ouellette, Mark Klatt and Richard DeGrave), The Defenders (Les Boone, Devin Kowal and Mike Carberry), Dirty Mike and the Boyz (Mike Grossman, Matt Smith and Jared Schnellert) andOne Ball to Rule Them All (Ryan Ransom, Shane Ghouralal and Ian Southern). Eleventh overall were The Cupcakes (Keyanna Ouellette, Alyson DeGrave andCraig White)
The annual tournament also included an old-school, single shot, high-noon gentlemen's duel, which was free to spectators and participants alike, which was won by Ian Southern, who received a $275 Tippman hand pistol for his victory. Southern's team - One Ball to Rule Them All - also received the MVP sportsmanship award, which had gone to individual players in previous tournaments.
