Charlene Simes captured the 2009 Thompson Golf Club's ladies' club championship Aug. 9, finishing at the top of the championship flight ahead of runners-up Amy Portey and Marlene Dram.
Mary Ernest won the first flight, with Kirstie Svenkeson and Vera Marie Whitehead taking the second and third spots.
Bev McLellan was the winner of the second flight, followed by Shirley Phillips and Joanne Jervis.
The third flight crown was captured by Aggie Galay, who beat out Shelley Hall and Diana Gallant.
