Manitoba RCMP investigate snowmobile crash that claimed life of 12-year-old girl

GOD'S LAKE NARROWS, MAN. — A 12-year-old girl has died after a snowmobile crash in northern Manitoba. RCMP say three children were on a toboggan being pulled by a snowmobile last Friday near the community of God's Lake Narrows.

GOD'S LAKE NARROWS, MAN. — A 12-year-old girl has died after a snowmobile crash in northern Manitoba.

RCMP say three children were on a toboggan being pulled by a snowmobile last Friday near the community of God's Lake Narrows.

Mounties say the toboggan struck a tree stump, and the girl was thrown off and suffered life-threatening injuries.

They say the snowmobile was being driven by a 12-year-old boy with a 14-year-old boy as a passenger and none of the children were wearing helmets.

The girl was brought to a nursing station and died.

God’s Lake Narrows RCMP say their investigation is ongoing.
