Six people were arrested in two drug raids Nov. 12 that resulted in Thompson RCMP seizing nearly 1.5 kilograms of cocaine as well as a rifle, a crossbow, money and drug paraphernalia.
The first search warrant was executed at a residence on Caribou Road around 6:40 p.m. Monday, where police seized approximately 947 grams of cocaine, an SKS high-powered rifle, ammunition, a crossbow, arrows and drug paraphernalia.
Thirty-eight-year-old Anthony Clements, 34-year-old Delmar Hill and 24-year-old Kendall Clemons, all of Thompson, were arrested, as was 30-year-old Kathleen Spence-Sinclair. All are charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Clements is also charged with careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order. Hill also faces charges of careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized gun possession, possession of property obtained by crime and three counts of possessing a weapon contrary to a court order. Clemons is also charged with careless use of a firearm, two counts of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Spence-Sinclair also faces charges of careless use of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
All four were remanded into custody.
A second search at a Pipe Road residence less than two hours later turned up 478 grams of cocaine, money and drug paraphernalia.
Shawn Knowles, 25, and Kevin Wilson, 42, both from Thompson, were arrested and charged with possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime. Both were remanded into custody.
RCMP continue investigating.
